Steve Birchell

A well respected businessman in the community, Steve has been building in the area since his arrival to Virginia in the late 1970’s.  As developer –owner of Preddy Creek subdivision, he took great care in preserving the character of the area, leaving beautiful mature trees throughout the subdivision.  With the completion of the Preddy Creek project drawing near, Steve came upon a beautiful piece of property, Hancock Farms.  An appealing 72 lot planned subdivision each more than 2 acres, with beautiful mature woods and wandering streams, he knew he had found his next subdivision.

Steve Birchell and his wife Marguerite are the owners/developers of Hancock Farms and Steve together with his daughter Renee and Scott Hiller are the primaries of New Vision Homes.  The first three houses at Hancock Farms were started in 2003 by Tri County Development.  Shortly after the completion of these three houses, Tri County decided to sell the models to a Northern Virginia Builder who purchased the models and all thereafter all of lots in Phase One.   In late 2004 New Vision Homes was formed and took over as the builder at Hancock Farms.   Starting in Phase Two, we have built completed several homes and decided it was time to build a model for the subdivision.  The Del Mar model will soon be completed and open to visitors in late fall 2010.  We are looking forward to the opening of Phase Three in the near future.

Scott Hiller

Scott holds a Class A license and has been building homes for more than 28 years.  He brought his talent to Virginia when he and his wife Sue moved from Hawaii to Virginia in 1995.  He is a true craftsman, paying close attention to every detail.  He is hands on during the entire construction process overseeing every phase.  He was the site supervisor for Tri County Development, the builder at Preddy Creek Subdivision.  Upon completion of that project, Steve Birchell owner of Tri County Development along with his daughter, Renee Birchell and Scott formed New Vision Homes.

Renee Birchell

Renee has long been interested in design and real estate.  She has a keen eye to detail, color and design.  After a career in the horse world, she decided to fulfill her desire to build custom quality homes.  Renee devotes a good amount of time to plan selection, product selections and color coordination.  Renee and Scott share the same passion, integrity and dedication when it comes to home building.  Together they build each home with care, quality and craftsmanship as though it was their own.
